🌄 My Uttarakhand Travel Experience with Skyhike – A Journey to Remember I recently had the opportunity to explore some of the most spiritually rich and naturally breathtaking places in Uttarakhand through a meticulously planned trip arranged by Skyhike, and I must say — it exceeded all expectations. ⸻ 📍 Places Covered: • Kedarnath • Badrinath • Chopta & Tungnath • Auli • Haridwar Each destination was curated and timed perfectly, offering a seamless and immersive experience. The trip struck the right balance between pilgrimage, nature, and adventure. 🏨 Stay & Food: Skyhike arranged all accommodations and meals for the trip, and I genuinely appreciate how thoughtfully everything was organized: • Stays were clean, scenic, and well-maintained — from cozy hotels in Haridwar to lodges in the mountains. • Meals were fresh, homely, and hygienic, something very important when you’re constantly on the move. They managed to take care of food preferences and timings even in remote areas like Chopta, which is no small feat. 🚁 Kedarnath Helicopter Issue – Their True Test of Service: I had my Kedarnath helicopter ride booked in advance. Unfortunately, it was cancelled last-minute by Aviation Kelester due to unforeseen reasons. Naturally, this could have derailed the spirit of the trip. But this is where Skyhike truly won my trust: • They didn’t just apologize and move on — they acted. • They arranged an alternate night stay in Auli, one of the most stunning locations on the trip. • They also offered to either extend the stay elsewhere or provide a refund, putting the power of choice in my hands. • Their communication was clear and empathetic during a time that could’ve been frustrating. This gesture wasn’t just professional — it was personal. It showed they genuinely care about the people traveling with them. 💼 Constant Support & Coordination: Throughout the journey, Skyhike kept a consistent check on how things were going — from hotel check-ins to sightseeing, from food to logistics. That extra layer of accountability made me feel safe and prioritised. 👤 A Special Mention – Vinay from Skyhike: At Badrinath, I had the pleasure of meeting Vinay, who is part of the core Skyhike team — and I must say, he is a true gentleman. • He handled everything with calm, confidence, and kindness. • From coordinating routes to making alternate arrangements, he was the man behind the curtain making everything run smoothly. • You can sense his passion for travel and hospitality in every interaction. • His efforts made this trip feel less like a transaction and more like a shared journey.
